Some terrific performances at Edwards Stadium @ Cal:
4x400 Girls Relay (Kaylyn Goode, Ava Moran, Irionnia Allen, Masina Mayo) - placed 6th with a 3:57.16 and broke school record!
Kaylyn Goode - 6th overall with a 45.51 in the 300H
Jordyn Bryant - 5th overall with a score of 135-03.00 in the Discus Throw and 3rd overall with a score of 41-06.50 in the Shot Put
Cassy Haskell - 3rd overall with a 4:56 in the 1600m
Marcus Young - 9th overall with a score of J13-07.00 in the Pole Vault
CIF State Championship Meet
Two individuals have qualified and will be representing Mats Track & Field this coming weekend in Clovis: Jordyn Bryant (Discus and Shot Put) and Cassy Haskell (1600m)
End of Season Banquet
This Wednesday 6pm-8pm - Cafeteria
Please wash your singlet/drop to the Maders (12 La Sombra, Orinda) or bring to the Banquet. Keep shorts- cannot reuse.

The following Mats Track & Field athletes qualified from last weekend's Tri Valley Meet to the CIF NCS Meet of Champs (MOC) at UC Berkeley this Friday and Saturday:
Masina Mayo, Ava Moran, Cassy Haskell, Audrey Allen, Jordyn Bryant, Kaylyn Goode, Irionnia Allen, Marcus Young.
A special shout out to Jordyn who won both the Discus and Shot Put events in addition to taking 4th overall in the 300H.
In addition, the team has entered the following into the exhibition 4x800 relay: Tommy Brovelli, Garrett Louie, Jack Mader, JJ Young.

LAST TEAM DINNER
Last team dinner, Friday 5/4 in cafeteria. Haven't helped yet? Come and lend a hand. 5pm
ROTARY FIELD DAY AND DAL CHAMPIONSHIPS SAT 5/5
Saturday is DAL finals/mandatory meet 2pm at Campo. We are hosting Rotary Field Day at Miramonte at 8am that same day 5/5. Parents welcome to come help as well. 7:30am for set up, should wrap up by noon. 4x1 relay and 1600 participants can head to Campo early before Rotary ends to warm for their events.
Miramonte water bottles on sale at the team dinner and Saturdays events. Very few left ,$20
WASHED SINGLETS /ATHELTIC PE
For those done on Saturday, please wash your singlet/ drop by Maders 12 La Sombra Orinda. Keep shorts- cannot reuse. Did you read WASHED singlets? Thank you. Athletic PE people have already been contacted and know to include mandatory Saturday hours to be signed on Monday 5/7 at practice. Turn time sheets into counseling office.

Has your athlete had a great experience and interested in running this summer or heading to Tahoe with the cross country team in August? Stay tuned we will send more details.

Have a graduating athlete or haven't joined Boosters before, want to share the sports experience with other kids? Consider donating to Boosters. Its never too late. Boosters is the team behind ALL the teams at Miramonte. Parent led non profit that supports all teams with bigger items like high jump pits, hurdles, shade structures and much more. END OF SEASON AWARDS AND DINNER
Don't miss the end of season team banquet W 5/30 6-8pm, Awards, brief Senior speeches and send off, Mr Young's awesome slide show, delicious food and a great running community to hang out with. RSVP will be asked soon. Siblings/ parents welcome NO charge.
Time to say thanks for the adults that give soooo many hours to our kids at weekend meets, daily practice, signing sheets, in the weight room, taping ankles and encouraging.
