Miramonte 28 at Alameda 7

The JV defense continues to dominate in a 28-7 win over Alameda.

Friday, September 16    ALAMEDA, CA

Matadors took an early lead in the first quarter with a one yard touchdown by Ben Schmiedt. In the second quarter Luke Miller dumps a short pass to Charlie Hawkins who takes it 72 yards for the second touchdown ending the half with 14-0 on the scoreboard.

In the third quarter the JV squad increases their lead when Harrison Braitberg runs in a 31 yard touchdown pass from Miller. Shortly after Alameda scored their only touchdown of the game ending the third quarter with Mats up 21-7.

The 4th quarter quickly ignites when the first play results in Miramonte's final touchdown of the game with a 51 yard bomb from Miller to Braitberg. The defense held strong the rest of the game and the score remained 28-7 resulting in a win for the Matadors!
